Event Date: May 15th to mid June 2013
Admission is free

The Nanaimo Museum will be hosting an exhibit of restored images by Matt James. The display will include some antique framed items and some medium to large canvas printed photos. Most of the exhibits will be for sale and partial proceeds will be donated to select foundations. Some of the images have never been seen by the public and have been sourced from private collections.
Each and every image has been repaired through modern digital programs that allow me to manipulate fading, blemishes, tears and panoramic stitching. The methods of printing will be 100 percent archival.
This will be my 3rd public showing of this type of restored images. My previous show had a mix of British Columbia images and the exhibit contained 137 images. This museum exhibit will be scaled back but the content will be of higher quality works.
We will be offering a number of perpetual calendars for sale which are printed locally and have some great content.
The show informally opens Wed the 15th of May and will run through June.
