Quarterway Pub

I hate to say this but you guys were all right. I hate kareokee to death, but Saturday night I ended up at the Quarterway Pub. I was shockingly surprised all the singers were awsome! The whole night not one person made me wanna plug my ears. The female host was fantastic, staff friendly and I actually met afew people. I was in shock, for a small pub the group that goes there is super easy to get along with. I didnt really like the fact the smoking room was so small but after a few times of going in there people invited me to their tables. Ended up shutting down the place. Thanks, I probably would have never gone if nobody ever commented on it.

and if you get board at the quarterway, chasers is right there. karaoke on the same nights but usualy a smaller crowd (good if you want to hog the mike )

I have never sang there but I have seen that it is much quieter....

I find Quarterway waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too busy for my taste; in a sense, not too busy, but waaaaaaaay too small.......
I find that I like to still breathe when I am in a pub....

haha I know what you you mean, breathing is a rather good thing.Behind it, like literaly? I dont know the area, my home pub is the Welllington I can walk home is worst comes to worst. I lived in the apartments kiddy corner to Quarterway but I cant picture a pub behind it. I just wanna try new places. Summerset is close to me but its not that great. Its either too busy or not busy enough.

I don't like the Summerset much either........
I am also nearest to the Wellington, but have never really been there much.........

Behind The Quarterway there is that Pinnacle Fitness Gym, Chases is also there...

I'm not a huge fan of the Sommerset, but It's not a bad place to go if you have a group of friends. We (Me Jen and here sister) went there on Thursday and they ended changing Music Trivia to Karaoke. It was a good time.

Chasers uses the same parking lot, Persephone is right -- right behind the quarterway. I think it's attached to the gym. You can't really see it if you come out on the liquor store side.

Btw Des - In chasers you can smoke in the whole bar Let us know next time you are going, maybe you, me, Phil, Jen Anna (Persephone) and some other members here could all hook up for drinks - Phil Jen and I all sing (And we actually arent that bad) so you wont have to plug your ears lol

Sad to say, I've only been in the Quarterway Pub once.
However, I did go to Quarterway Elementary School in Grade 6
