Rondezvous info anyone??

I have heard it is going to have a large restaurant and a 70 person lounge. Also, rumors for Talal (sp?) from Milanos will be the chef there.

Can anyone confirm this or have anything to add?? I sure am happy about the new restaurants opening here. Seems like it has been a while since we have gotten anything new.

I can't confirm much, except that I also heard that Talal was opening a new Middle-Eastern place, and that Selma (from Casa de Mexico, where I used to work! - it used to be where the Thirsty Camel is now) was involved too. Her baklava rules. Her grilled lemon-garlic chicken drew me back from the vegetarian front.

As for the venue being the Rendezvous, I can't say.

I haven't noticed anything that looks like construction there, but I have noticed that have taken down the old banner that used to be outside of the door, and re-painted it, so we shall see.
