Forum Redesign

Hey everyone, I am in the middle of working on the forum redesign. It will be integrated into the main site a lot more seamlessly. So if you are seeing anything fishy going on please report it here and I can have a look. Thanks!

Two little things I noticed:

- The new "New Reply" icons in the forum index were kind of nicer when they actually changed color rather than just shade to grey. It might be cool to have them go blue or something if people didn't like the yellow.

- The new quick reply function; you might want to make the button actually say 'Quick Reply' instead of just reply. Just makes it easier to notice.

I'm not too sure what you mean by "the yellow". Can you show me an example of what you are talking about?

I will bring that up with Gerry. Wanted to keep the button size and font size the same, which was my reasoning behind "Reply" and not "Quick Reply".

I understand the quick reply - probably best to keep it the same.

For the forums, I'm referring to this:

this is how it looks when there are new replies

There is hardly a difference and it's just nicer to really see when there are new posts - like I was talking to Nick about the other day, if you don't see any new posts you're just going to leave, so if you can make it more obvious you'll get more traffic!

I have adjusted the forum_new.gif graphic to be darker. Hopefully this will stand out a bit better, lemme know if it works
