Is anyone going at all this weekend?

I was thinking of grabbing Alex and heading down to the midway and then possibly going back to watch the cowboy junkies tonight......

I think the haunted house is going to be there

I went down for a couple of hours for something to do. Cowboy Junkies were on stage when I was there, but I'm not a country fan so I didn't stay & watch. Went for a ride on the bumper cars -- I'll never get too old for that.

We had a lot of fun going around and checking out the animals, we must have done that for a few hours.....

I spent $30 on tickets for the fair but it is such a rip-off. Alex only got on like 4 rides and gave me tickets to go on two rides with him......

We also learned that the zipper was only running on 3 motors and no brakes; I doubt, after hearing that, that we will ever attend a WCA carnival ever again. It disgusts me that they would put the lives of kids in danger like that......

Anyhow, everything else was great and it wasn't too hot out there.
