Hi all,

Had a couple lovely days camping up at Miracle Beach, it's a favourite of ours, especially the trails in the park and nearby....the Oyster River fisherman's trail is a nice hour stroll, and has a pub at BOTH ends : )
Here's a few pics I grabbed with my old Oly digital....

We used to rent a boat and go fishing out of Oyster River.man,that was years ago! Haven't been there in so loong..need to make a Sunday Drive sometime soon.

My fav when the kids were young were the Medicine Bowls .....it used to be such a relaxing way to spend the day.

Medicine Bowls Trail. Three waterfalls born from Browns River carved out by the force of nature and rushing currents. Medicine Bowls Trail is a great hike for novice walkers offering spectacular views after a short 2 km walk on a dirt road at the end of Forbidden Plateau Road west of Courtenay, BC


In the summer the river ebbs, and you are left with fabulous "bowls" of water, just like a hot tub! The rock is sandstone.so it gets real hot.
