That does sound awesome.
And Al, your Miracle Beach pics are gorgeous!

Went for a day trip up to the Comox valley a couple weeks back, had a nice lunch out at Goose Spit, on the way back to Courtenay we drove by the Comox airfield and stopped to take a few pics of the static display of aircraft near the museum... I like the way this pic of the Mig 25 "Fishbed" came out....it kinda looks a little post-apocolyptical......
cheers,

What filters did you use on that one?
(Insert obscure yet thought provoking text here)
Looks like infrared or something similar?
Eric & Mr. Swine : )
I started with a regular colour jpeg image, played around with curves, desaturated the image to grayscale, cloned out a few (argh!) powerlines,
then zapped up the contrast a bit....
BTW anyone else here a fan of "Photoshop User TV"?.....Entertaining and informative....and best o' all, it's free on the web! : )
I'm not sure if links work from the forum, but it's here:

Hi all,
Went camping at goldstream near Victoria this past weekend...beautiful area, btw and a very nice provincial campground, although it's starting to get a little pricy at $24.00 a night....
Here's a pic of a waterfall on the Goldstream near the campground...
cheers,
Al

Goldstream is on my 'summer list' this year for sure... every time I drive through, I want to stop SO badly. Nice waterfall shot Yogi.
I am a huge fan of Donnie Hoyle at My Damn Channel... You Suck at Photoshop... I guess it's defunct now but the two minute videos are awesome!
Here's a pic from Seventh Street.
Ha. Awesome picture... and for the record, you can take pictures anywhere you'd like as long as you're on public property.
