Good tries, folks. The photo was taken at "Harewood Reservoir", a.k.a. "Fourth Dam".

Has anyone been to "Reservoir Park" (shown on the map below)? Looks kinda neat on Google Earth (the map below is not Google Earth).

Fourth Dam, Harewood Reservoir, Nanaimo, BC

i've been down to the bottom corner of that lake. there used to be a shaft from the harewood mine which has ben filled, but there are still alot of cool old left over strewn around theres also a trail around the bottom of the lake where you can find a bunch of abandoned junkers, I'm not 100% but I thought I was told that lake was man made for the mine, could be wrong tho

Does anyone know where this is? It may be in another thread, but I thought I'd post it just in case.

Oh, that's bowen park, at the north end of the duck pond. I know, because I have been there one thousand times before to feed the ducks

It's just a little lower-left from center, near the 170 you can see a small X.

I think it's some old shaft. Ridden by it a few times while Mtn Biking, always thought it was kind of cool.
