Interesting. I've been talking to a handful of business owners downtown and a couple of homeowners in the area and I've been hearing good things about the effects of the red zone program that was instated a few months back. There are also neighbourhood groups that are working on improving the area which are saying that there have been improvements.

Have you noticed any other differences of late?

Are you kidding? Do you have any idea how much money you could make by blackmailing someone this way? Man, if I knew that guy who owned the BMW... hmmm....

Where exactly is the 'red zone'? - I imagine the boundary of this zone is pretty much right where we live... and now where the crackies, dealers, pimps have moved to. (to my suprise, sleeping/dealing/whoring DIRECTLY in front of the Law Courts... what.. the businesses downtown can necessitate security but the LAW COURTS LET IT SLIDE?.. that part gets to me)

Kick 'em out of one area, just so they can infest the next, pretty standard. Guess it's time for this resident to get all NIMBY too... you know.. so Old City Quarter can have a taste in a few months, then townsite....

I'm with you on the johns though - I would LOVE to blackmail one of those guys! I'm on the lookout for the bimmer!

Here, you would immediately get in big trouble, with layers and the prosecution office ... privacy and other laws don´t allow such kind of things!

well, blackmailing is not allowed here neither. But we have a saying here: where there is no plaintiff, there is no judge

But I was thinking more about the site with all this private information about cars, plate numbers, time and place ... that would immediately put forward the prosecution office (privacy protection law)

Actually... that's a good question. There are so many privacy laws these days. Man, you wouldn't BELIEVE how many laws professionals have to keep in mind to protect the information of their clients. But that comes as part and parcel of the fiduciary duty thing. I'm not sure if there are laws about putting info like that about random people on the web. I personally wouldn't take the risk, who knows if the guy saw you taking the pic and who knows how psycho or into keeping his privacy he is. Even if you're a tough guy, it's hard to block bullets.
