    Default Nanaimo Perspectives II

This is a popular thread - maybe because the subject matter is so open.
The first "Nanaimo Perspectives" thread is already 11 pages long, so, just to keep things wieldy, I'm starting this second one.

Here's that mill right by the Duke Point ferry terminal. I took the photo from the Nanaimo River Estuary, so those mountains are on the mainland.

This is at the estuary, too. Erosion!

I should have mentioned where the last picture was but should I ass u me that every one knows? It's the Bunjee bridge.

This is for all those that haven't been able to see the Cruise ship in the Harbour, note the Floatplane taking off.

Cool, I didn't know what the bridge at the Bungy Zone looks like.
I wish the cliffs of Gabriola were as close as they look in the pic of the cruise ship.
    Thanks Sly Fox!

    Here's another:

Well it's a wet Monday, thought I'd waste a little time in Photoshop, here's a pic I took along the powerlines above Morrell lake, then altered in the curves function of PS

    cheers,

    Default Snow Day!

    Hi all,
Got the day off, it's March 28th and snowing! Colliery Dam was especially nice with a dusting of the white stuff.

    cheers,
    Al
