In all honesty, being single around the holidays is a little bit bittersweet for me.
I'm single because I either don't care, or don't try (plus I'm shy but I don't tell people that cause I have to keep up my sweet rep).
I don't really mind it though. To be honest I don't like being alone, but when I say that I mean completely alone. As long as I'm around friends I do ok.
What I like about it? I guess not having to worry about anything really. I only have to look our for numero uno.
And I never go out looking for other single people. I figure when I finally hook up with someone, it'll be one of my current friends, or someone I just randomly meet.
Well being single is a great thing and yes it can get lonely around this time of year however if you spend more time with your friends then you won't need anyone. If you are looking to meet others that are single visit www.plentyoffish.com tons of local people there.

Well single people have a lot of fun as we do not have to answer to anyone.

I am also single and have no clue how to even begin anything I am shy and not sure about anything right now .I am very much interested in meeting new people and hangin out . I work alot and have a child so I don't have all that much time but weekends are free .

I am not single. Hehe...but i read the thread anyways. I'm currently with my second boyfriend, we been together almost 3.5 years now. Before that i had 1 boyfriend for 3 years. Manyshadesofpink- from the sounds of it, and your previous posts, you sound like a recent single. Take your time. Have some fun. Unless you end up meeting someone who is realy worth spending the time and effort on, dont get into anythin to serious right away. Know that you deserve to be happy and have a good time.
