The high road? Dont make me laugh. Seldom has there ever been as much misinformation and half truths in a campaign as there was in the conference centre campaign.
From an organized letter writing campaign full of questionable claims (that are now being proven wrong almost daily) to 'rent-an-experts' and even applying to other levels of government to stop funding for the NNC, FPN was and is purely self serving and have not done the people of Nanaimo any favours.
I doubt anyone would like to be spoken to like this, in person. I don't see why it's different here. The high road? Dont make me laugh.
Let's keep it just a little more civil.
*yawns*
I have to agree with DILLIGAF, during the referendum and the election the FPN were not that accurate in the information they distributed. Although at the same time I feel the City was not all that transparent either.
I remember Ron Cantelon and Tom Krall promising at the time that the cost would not exceed $52Million. In fact it was guaranteed and yet today we are well over $75 Million not including a lot of the infrastructure costs (roadways) etc.
Well, with vicious little attacks like this, I wonder why I told you I would not post anything more on the conference centre article. Yet, here you go again bringing up the conference centre, spreading your own misinformation and engaging in personal attacks against people and organizations. Just to let you know, I will no longer respond to your comments, as I WILL TAKE THE HIGH ROAD - YOUR LAUGHS ASIDE.
Question . .. . Is sustainibertarian an official spokesperson for Friends of Plan Nanaimo?
I drove by "Pirate Chips" on Commercial street today. Angela Negrin had a big poster on her restaurant window that read something about being fried??? It looked political.
I never had time to stop or read what was in the window.
Anyone know what it read, or what it's about?
