Thread: Lawn care question

    Default Lawn care question

I'm from midwest, and just bought a house with a big backyard in Nanaimo. But I will go back for about a month or longer to move family to Nanaimo. So the new home is basically not attended during the period. What I'm worrying is the lawn may grow too high with weeds. How often normally we need to do a lawn mowing in summer? I may get a lawncare guy to take care of it for the whole season.

At least once every two weeks. My husband is cutting ours every week already this year.

Thanks Carol. You've been helpful for everything...

Yeah, I'd say that Carol's answer agrees with my own experience.

If you're worried about it there are services that will mow it for you. Though if it were me, I'd just mow it right before I leave and find some teen in the neighbourhood to do it for you while you're gone (make a friend) or just don't worry about it.
