Wow - sounds like if they are to my liking, I won't ever be at a loss for a good stylist there!!!
I am booked in week after next - we will see how it goes!
I do have a question - I did an internet search for them and came up with a former Maffeo's restaurant - looked to be on the same street - did they do a drastic change of operations? Or is that just a coincidence?
Have a great day!!!!!

Well I went to see Brian at Maffeo's last night and I would recommend him to anyone. Besides the fact that the salon is really cool - in an old house on Wentworth, and Brian is a blast - my hair looks FABULOUS!!! Definately give him a try if you are looking for someone new!!!!
Have a great day!!!!!

This thread is kind of old, but I'm in the same boat. I think I want a new hairdresser! Once being a hairdresser myself, I know exactly what I want.
I was thinking of going back to the Cutting Room, they did a good job, but I left some years ago because of the pricing. I can't pay $85 for a cut now! I will pay $40-$45, maybe even $50.
I want a hairdresser that is up on short spiky cuts; not super short. I still want to look like a woman! I can see it in my head, and they all say 'yes yes', but it doesn't come out the same, or if it does, they never cut it the same next time. Can't seem to find the right picture.
So looking for someone specializing in funky short cuts for women.
Cubby,
I wear my hair really short and Brian at Maffeo's did a fabulous job with it - I was terrified going in - like it super short but don't want to look like a boy - cut turned out fabulous. Cost me $50 which was less than half of what I paid the last time I got a cut!!!!
Give him a try!

Have a great day!!!!!

Tara,
I think Brian is the ex of the hairdresser I've been to! She is a friend and I think I'll feel weird going to him!
Try Katrina at Maffeo then.... she's up to date on the short funky cuts, she often has a different one on herself!
