I guess it's just the natural course of people and their emotions, Soda?

Haha, just saw this old thread for the first time.
Luckily, soda, someone suggested moving all the polical discussions to their own forum, which turned out to be a great idea. It fostered a lot of conversation, interest in the 2008 municipal elections, and kept some of the "heavier" stuff in a single forum.

I guess I should edit the elections forum to be the political forum.

It was a good idea to have a separate forum for politics. I forsee it will continue to be a busy one with all the changes that will be happening on a local/provincial/federal levels.

OOps bamboo. Most of the ladies I know are as deep into these subjects as the men are. These are serious topics that effect us all and all of us includes ladies. Perhaps older ladies mind you, however folks on this forum are pretty young and Ive seen plenty of heart felt comments from them.

lol you mean twinkie? My adult daughter uses that term for girls who are usually quite attractive but show signs of simple fluffy type thought patterns kind of like typical blond jokes. and those are stereotyped too. But I must say I liked the word used in that capacity and got quite a chuckle over it.
