We must take it a bit easy on bamboo ladies. He did retract his statement. But I like what jingles said too. You might find me delving into all kinds of interest stories including "fluff" as far as others may see it. Women are interested in everything often not just the dry or intellectual stuff.

If you were to take a look at the pages I visit daily, you'd see a wide spectrum ranging from news sites (my favorite - particularly local news, international, CNN, Reuters, etc,) to science/tech stuff (NASA, Scientific American, Wired, Ars Technica, The Register) to "fluff" (Woman's Day, Facebook, Icanhascheezburger, POGO.com) to a mix of stuff (Consumerist, Digg, Smart Canucks, Lifehacker, RedFlagDeals, and a plethora of blogs.) It would be hard to quantify what my likes/dislikes are because for the most part I like a little bit of everything.

You'd probably be amused that as a teen, the topic of choice between my father and myself was physics and quantum mechanics. Not stuff you think most teenage girls would want to talk about, but after we both read "A Brief History of Time" by Stephen Hawking, we found the subject matter fascinating. Still do, in fact - science/tech dominates most of our conversations. We spent the entire Phoenix landing time together watching CNN/Discovery channels and reading updates online, then listening to the webcasts in the following days. Fascinating stuff!
