Thanks TH - I just spent a very long time (over several days) rereading this thread, and I'd love to see a non-biased, brief review of the themes and major points.

I have removed a few comments relating to identifiable persons being described as being involved in "illegal activities" - I don't believe there's anything else in this thread that I would be expected to moderate. Arguments to the contrary are welcome, of course.

This thread stands all alone for days on end as we await more news. FYI Korey is still at it and had a day of it at council yesterday. He heard the thread had been deleted or that no one can reply, but for me so far so good. I'll have to tell him.

Actually Kickidee Korey was told That I would not be posting on this thread anymore As my belief is it is best for a lawyer to handle it. I also told him that the moderator was the last person to post and had deleted things he thought should not be on here. Just some clarification on the issue.

I can agree with that piper, weve said it all really, why repeat and perhaps effect his case adversely? I would post if I had anything new to add but this one seems worn to the ground at least for now!!

Please allow me to update on this issue, which has been silent for a while, I personally appeared in court for Korey Korelek on Tuesday and have tried to put this issue to rest with the help of city lawyers and bylaw enforcement.
I have accepted the responsibility of trying to mediate a conclusion to this ongoing problem. Hopefully by the end of January 2009 we will have it all resolved depending on my skills of communication. I can see things from both sides and I am trying to end a bitter dispute between the city of Nanaimo & the Koreleks. Hopefully my next post on this thread will be positive news but will take a bit of time. I'm sure I will be asked why am I doing this and my response is I care about the city I live in, I care about my friends and I care that things like this end peacefully. I am a person who suffers from post traumatic stress and I deal with it by continuously trying to help in situations like this.
