I'll jump in and answer because I was there that day, hope you don't mind Riverrat! It's shot from Newcastle Island, the blue/white motel straight across is "Moby Dick's" I think!

it really is beatiful down at the water front if you can avoid looking down when the waters clear due to all of the junk people throw over board its icky
people should use a garbage can sorry just venting at no one in particular

I hear ya, truebluetara - Just today I was walking along the docks wih my boy, and he asked who threw the shopping carts into the water - I muttered that it was someone who needs a punch in the head, and he heard me! So I had to explain that of course that wouldn't help, and that maybe the only thing that would help is if someone threw garbage in that person's yard....
