that wreckage is from Mt Arrowsmith. I haven't been up to look for the benson crash site yet, soon though.
Well i graduate this june and A friend of mine is hell bent on dirt biking around arrowsmith. Were also going to be in tofino surfing so if your making an adventure out of it, Id love to come! Ill also volunteer my friend! Anything else about this pentagram?
cool, if you do want see that Mt Arrowsmith site you've got to go around August September when all the snow has melted out of the bowl, and there was someone else who said they found a pentagram up at witchcraft lake but I haven't been up to look for it,
.......thanx for the August-Sept date to hike to the crash-site.....How long of a hike would you figure it would be from the car and back.......cheers!......stan the man
probably an hour and a half to two hours from the arrowsmith saddle trail up to the top and then down into the east bowl, where you'll find the wreckage strewn all over the place
Amazing to see wreckage laying around like that.
apparently there's a plane crash on the mountain behind cassidy, close to the molybdenum mine
You know I heard that somewhere before....
You be sure to let me know if you head out that way one day. I'd say "when the weather gets better", but we've had it good all winter long. If it were a little greener out, I'd have to say its spring time!
.....what is really amazing is the photo showing the coloured code that which was painted on the twin tail fins....if you check out the RCAF web-site you will see the different models of Expiditor that were used in the military....like I've said earlier.... it made it quite simple for identification seeing the red white and blue colours.....that my friends is what makes a wreck-hunter grin bigtime........thanx.........stan the man
