Thread: Group Bicycle Rides are Back!

Default Group Bicycle Rides are Back!

Yes, the snow is gone (at least for now) and we are back! This year I've joined up with the people from the Greater Nanaimo Cycling Coalition to promote group rides (and cycling in general). More promoters = better group rides for all. The GNCC has been around for about 11 years, providing networking, rides and ongoing government lobbying for better parking and commuting space for cyclists. We'd like to make everyone aware of our kick off ride for the New Year which will be held on Sunday Febuary 15th, meet at Coyote's Coffee Co, 1045B Terminal St, Nanaimo. This ongoing series of rides will be geared towards cyclists of all ages, styles and abilities, no one gets left behind. The group will depart at 10am. For more info you can contact myself or the GNCC at info@theGNCC.org

    See you there!

Next ride is Sunday, April 26th everyone's welcome. Meet at Coyote's Coffee on Terminal Ave/St.George Street at 10am, route/distance to be decided by group concensus. I recently built myself another new toy from scrap bicycles. Check us out online: search Facebook for Re-cycle Nanaimo. See you there!

Limbery, I recommend you contact OCD by private message and hopefully he will contact you back. I am sure he is still active in the rides.

To send a private message to a member, click on "User CP" top left corner and then select Private Message. When you get to the name to send it to, when you start typing at least 3 characters it will give you suggestions on who it might be, click on the suggestion, add a title and continue
