Rick when you approach someone and try to convince them that you are operating out of the community police station and under the direction of the RCMP then then a person would tend to believe that. If you don't know any different. If these ambassadors are using the word RCMP to get peoples attention to answer questions about a survey they are doing something wrong. If they said we are doing a survey and we are here at the request of the DNPS then it would be a different story. The RCMP are the law and most people respect the law, The DNPS are only a society that I do not have to answer to. Cheers

When the DNP finds an employee has drank "cough syrup out of a glass" while giving security training, at work, that employee should resign.

Failing resignation the employer should discipline, suspend and terminate the employee.
(possible option for counselling and treatment)

    Cover up?

The DNP Security is watching you, reporting your activities to Sharon Welch who in turn reports your activities to the DNP.

    Shame on the DNP.

If you're doing bad things, shouldn't you be reported? How about not breaking laws/ by-laws that are there for everyones safety?

The training and standards are whatever Sharon Belch and the DNP decide. The standards are uncertified, unlicensed and haphazard at best.

Some of the training consisted of a Supervisor drinking cough syrup telling trainees about her College degree in leadership and training.

Happy I am sure the DNP can make room for you in the
"DNP Rat Squad". You are probably a member already.

While I am all for cleaner streets and reporting etc. I am fully against a ,heavily politicized organization, reporting on the citizens,
keeping files and records(blacklists) to further the aims of the DNP at the expense of citizens basic rights and freedoms.

    No transparency or accountability.

    Shame on the DNP.

Enough already. Security Expert you and I have had a number of telephone conversations on this, and I thought you were ready to move on.

I have opened up dialog on the whole ambassador/security issue with respect to not only Nanaimo, but all other municipalities that use ambassadors for their downtown. I have done this with the appropriate authorities.

The whole 'cough syrup' issue is becoming tiring. Unless you see this individual behind some building somewhere, or exchanging cash with some person in a vehicle with tinted glass, I suggest you stop personally attacking this person. You are setting yourself up for a defamation suit. Yes, you may have seen this person drinking cough syrup from a bottle at a meeting because she had a cold, but you are inferring something completely different.

    Perhaps this will help http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Defamation

    Rick

I note , that you have adopted some of the positions ,I took a stand on, which I was, unjustly dismissed.

Please consider, advocating a mediated settlement as part of your "Dialogue".

I only wished the DNP had been willing to "Dialogue" with me.

I guess they are selective about who they "Dialogue" with.

What makes you so special? After all I told them basically the same thing over a year ago.

They don't want to "Dialogue" , don't let them, use you, to spin doctor what should have been dealt with through mediation(dialogue), with myself "The Complainant" .
