I have had the same problem. Progressively I get more blunt and sharp with them. I have told "them" not to show up and they just send another couple. This was a once a week thing over the summer and now it's once or twice a month.

Answering the door naked, having a porno playing loudly in the background when you answer the door. Answering the door holding a knife or weapon... All are things I have heard people say but the ideas put into practice might actually get police involvement if the JW lodge a complaint. Even verbal abuse going over the line can be more trouble than it's worth. Bare in mind I didn't make these ridiculous rules but that's how it is like it or not.
Oops, I'm starting to rant!

Anyway, I got these numbers and some legal advice before I do something rash. Call these numbers and get them to take you off there visit list. There are two separate places where the glassy eyed zombies congregate so you have to call them both. Say a formal complaint has been recorded and future visits will be logged, only building a case against them.

If enough people call these numbers it will be giving them a dose of their own medicine. They are both functioning Jehovah's Witness numbers and both are equipped with answering machines.

I open the door and once I see that they are carrying the watchtower or I figure out who they are, I just say "sorry, I am not interested" and close the door without giving them a chance to speak. Last time, it took twice and they never came back.

Just be firm, they don't like rejection any more than anyone else does.

I typically know when I am expecting people to come to my door. The guy that brings parcels is generally at the same time when he does come by. I know how my dad and son knock....
So... if I see JV's at the door, I yank off my clothes, throw a robe on and open the door partially nude.... They haven't been back in a while.

I agree. I usually say what religion I am and they are polite and leave.

OK, so that's funny. It is only a few seconds these people will be standing at your door. No big deal. If you're not interested in talking with anyone, whether they are from a religious group, or a survey or political group, just say so and quietly close the door. No need to get upset, argue or cuss at them and slam the door.
