Pictures from the Gulf Islands

I'd love to see some photos from Gabriola, Saltspring, DeCourcy; all the islands that are smaller than Vancouver Island itself.

Here is a good photo blog from Protection Island, right across the harbour from downtown. And here are more Protection Island photos here in the forums.

Here is the "causeway", the channel between Newcastle Island and Protection Island. If anybody sees that the image has been updated with one of low tide, please let me know.

Is Fullford Harbour the long one on the northeast side?
PRIME real estate.

Fullford in the Harbour on the south end. If you were to take the ferry from Victoria, it would put you there. It is the most underdeveloped area of the Island.

This is a place we rented for a week a couple of years ago on Salt Spring Island...it's called "Pond House" I highly recommend it!
