    Thanks! Another rumour killed off!

    have you tried Superstore yet?
i know it's a grocery store, but their jeans are decent.

usually i went down south for cloth trip, once a year. if you wanna get good price, name brand.
that will save you a lot of money.

same as if you need buy one of "eye cream", "night cream", "toner".

I haven't been in Superstore since they cut back on their ladies' lingerie section, which used to be great. But I remember that their perfume section was great.

I hadn't even thought about trying Superstore. Have to remember to have a loonie for the cart, 'tho. Can't remember how many times I've had to dig for a loonie. Or are they charging a toonie now?

It's funny, but the jeans I'm having to replace are jeans I bought in the States. But I'm not willing to spend that amount of money to travel there, since I no longer drive. Plus some of my physical problems make it tough for me to travel much any more, at least alone.

I went to their website. I'd never even heard of the chain before (twentieth-century person that I am!) Do they do jeans? If they do, I'm there ! Any idea when they're opening?

I am short and dont want to pay fifty bucks for jeans.
There is a second hand, thrift store on Bowen. I bought some beauty jeans for six bucks. They still had a brand new tag on them.

i buy all my gigging clothes there . I bought a rwo hundred dollar dress . No kidding and it cost me nine bucks. I saw the exact same dress at Damsels a couple of weeks ago. Most people wear fancy stuff once. I need a different outfit for most gigs. I find this store and the HAven thrift store on Albert to be great for nice clothes not well worn at all.

what brand are you replacing? do you want the same brand? it would be easier to know what you wear.

Good call, that's a great place to buy decent stuff for inexpensive price .

See, i think i am cheap person, max i gotta spend for jeans are 50 bucks or less.
    Dress shirt, 30 or less.

Still, this sounds unpatriotic; i still do not think there is reasonable grounds for me to spend money here in woodgrove rather than Tulalip outlets.

Compared with the price down south, i should say, i am too poor to shop here.
if you ask me where i can get inexpensive and style clothes in Nanaimo, i probably can say, nowhere.
Not even Lower Mainland, Metrotown is still way too twinky, for grade 9...
