And don't get into too much trouble. LOL
yes.
happy weekend to all! (I'm leaving work RIGHT NOW)
...and heading to the mainland to pick up my aquariums that have been babysat for the last 8 months! Can't wait to have my tanks at home again!
I took my 29 girl Brownie unit to Victoria for the weekend.
We took the Malahat Dayliner from Nanaimo to Victoria, ate at the Old Spegetti Factory, and went to the BC Royal Museum and IMAX........
Between my Brownie unit, our leaders, parents, and the Brownie unit that meets next door to us, we had 51 people total.....
It was crazy!
Im too pregnant for this!
We had a wonderful weekend. Went to Englishman River Friday night, then on Saturday, we went to Rathrevor. There sure were a lot of people camping, despite the rain on Saturday.
Hey Persephone, it sure sounds like you had a ball. When is your baby due, and when do you think you'll be hitting the bar scene again?
hey!
Im due in 6 weeks!
Hmmmm... Im not really involved in the bar scene though
My other half's family owns one of the pubs and we are just always there, in general........
I never drank often even before I got pregnant![]()
ahhh you're bringing back memories of when I took my girl guide unit to Science World in Vancouver and also the one in Seattle (both were camp-ins and both were awesome). I highly recommend it if you get a chance!Originally Posted by Persephone
Cool! Our plan this year was to take the girls to a sleepover at Science World, the Vancouver Aquarium, and to playland the day before Hands across teh border.....
We have done the sleepover at the aquarium, decided to do a trip to Victoria (to save costs rather than Science World), and we are going to Playland on June 10th and then sleeping over with a Brownie unit near Peach Arch; we'll then be going to Hands across teh border the next day....
ofcoarse, Hands across teh border is 1 week before my due date... So.... It may be our other leaders going without me... lol
So, how was your weekend?
I have been to Hands Across the Border 4 times in the 7 yrs I was a leader.Originally Posted by Persephone
Make sure you have plenty of crafting things for them to make on the ferry trip..it helps keep the little rugrats occupied! Have fun..it's a great time!
