    Default Ello there

I posted my first msg in the wrong topic so I'm correcting it!

Hello everyone, I'm coming from France and will be soon in Nanaimo for several years. I came here last summer and fell in love with the, well with everything i'd say lol
Its going to be so different from my current city, but I'm excited. I'm looking for a place to live actually and i'm trying to learn more about the city such as transports, shops, etc.
I'm willing to teach my soccer culture against some hockey culture btw lol

    please to meet you!
    bye

Hi and welcome. You are like me, definetly hooked on Nanaimo. No shortage of shopping in Nanaimo. Shopping downtown and in the north end. Nanaimo does have a bus system to help get around town. The routes I have taken are quite scenic. Hopefully that helps educate you a bit more on Nanaimo. Again welcome.

Coming to Nanaimo from France is a long ways from home. Are you going to college here? Welcome to Nanaimo, land of beauty with an abundance of shopping and activities!!! Enjoy!

    Thanks for the details!

I'm coming here for studies in the university. I'll be doing quite the same thing I've been doing here, that is to say design. I had that great opportunity to move out there so I decided to take this chance and here I am.
I'm motivated by learning english at another step, even though I learn it for 12/13 years, its still kinda scoolish, especially my speaking skill with that wonderfull french accent -.- I also want to live in a different lifestyle, its a great experience I guess.
I've always been attracted by Canada, I'd tend to say more about by Quebec because of the language and previous trips but since I've discovered this part of Canada, ie British Columbia, I'd say I'd love to live here but well, I was in holidays when I came and living is very different than just being a tourist!
Anyway this place makes me feel special inside, cant really explain this feeling, its like safety, in harmony with the atmosphere.
And the forest/lakes/montains landscapes remind me some movies in my chilhood, like Free willy lol

There are around 5000 miles/8000 km between here and Nanaimo. It going to be fun to come here when I move out with all the luggages from Vancouver Airport to the hairbor lol the jet lag is nice, 9hours, I'll be in a good shape x)

If you have any questions, advices or stuff, I'll welcome them with pleasure.
