Response to Oldtimer, re: Harewood University Village Liquor store. To suggest that the liquor store has anything to do with the "unwanted presence" in the mall, is rather silly. If you want to target a particular vendor, target the 7/11 and gas station. That is where I have witnessed on numerous occasions drug deals, bad language, loitering, etc. A young boy on a bike purchased pills off of a older man who was on a bicycle. The child looked to be 12. I was disheartened to say the least. In the liquor store, I have seen the employees ask for I.D. and patrons refused. They are courteous and friendly. What does a liquor store have to do with it??

RE SHELLY - I totally agree with the comment about the Mall/liquor store. I go for a walk every secong day and pick up trash in the first half of the block from the 7/11 and Chicken Jacks along the sidewalk on Bruce Ave, I have informed the city, no results, I have talked to 7/11 with no results, emailed John Barsby school, no results, and you try to blame the Liquor store for its presents at the mall, we have a lot more problems than that my friends, harewood needs a patrol to help keep it clean and safe, we as citizens are obligated to changing the Harewood image, lets work togeather thats the only way we will accomplish it.
