Morrell Sanctuary - Boats?
I *know* there has been a thread on this before as I managed to find it about a year ago when I first stumbled upon these boats, but I cannot for the life of me find the thread that had info on it!
If you take the main trail from the Morrell parking lot to the power lines and turn left, you follow that trail the whole way, just past Collier Place I think it is...a bunch of mobile homes/rvs/etc, and you come across these bad boys...

The GPS co-ordinates according to google maps is about 49.141556,-123.978532
They are clearly old wooden? boats of some sort...it's kind of trashy there now...definitely looks as though a hobo or two has spent some time there.
These are from 11 months ago, the first time I was there.

If anybody has any information on this or could direct me to the thread which has this info previously, that would be wonderful. I took my friend there today (yesterday, I guess technically) but couldn't tell him anything about it, so it was quite the anti-climatic experience. Although, he did think it was cool. We're just knowledge seekers!
Thanks guys oxo!

The MHP is called "Willow Park" and is Seniors only. Off to the left of the entrance is easier access to the derelect catamaran boat.

Nevermind...I *finally* found the thread! I was searching for Morrell Sanctuary/boat/powerline, had I searched for Colliery Dam (although there is a typo of Colliery in the thread) or catamaran (which I never would have figured out) I probably would have come across it.

I consolidated the three threads that all discussed these hulls, into this one thread -- so some of the posts don't make perfect sense, but, that's why I'm writing this.
Hey nikkihype, hope that's okay that I moved your posts and photos to here. We definitely have room for "knowledge seekers"! I'm getting involved with the forums again and have a ton of photos/questions to slap into these threads in the next while -- hoping you'll do the same.
Cheers all!
