Aww.. that's terrible news.. definitely unexpected.. she was all smiles and vigor last I saw her... RIP

FYI: Tradition/Custom dictates that it is not appropriate to contact the Snuneymuxw or Viola’s family for the next 3 days of mourning. There is a traditional mourning period in place for the First Nation.
Thought that may be important to note...
RIP Viola, you were a trend setter, excellent voice in the city/province, and a real role model for the First Nations community. You will be dearly missed, but your legacy will live on.
