I could not agree more! Alice was a trooper through all of this and I bet it was not easy at times - with so many frustrated and impatient homeowners breathing down her neck and most of the time, I don't really think the developers gave her much info to work with.

I think it is very odd that they have not updated the Pacifica Nanaimo website since May 2009. You would think that with all the positive happenings, they would want to share that...

Anyways, I don't know about anybody else (kind of hard to tell with the somewhat negative tone of the posts) but we are very excited that the saga is over, have our movers booked for next week and we are moving in November 1st!

We're due to get our keys on the 27th and plan on sharing a glass of something special on the balcony - regardless of the weather. We sold our house two years ago and have been living an "interesting" life since - long story. It'd be great to get together with some of our new neighbours to share stories and celebrate our good fortune to be finally living in such a wonderful location. Anyone interested?

We'd love to join you for a toast on the balcony but might not be in Nanaimo to pick up our keys for a few weeks. Enjoy your new home.

Wow. You mean it might actually be finished?

I have been in my loft for over a week now and could not be happier. There are still a few bugs to work out with the building yet but I am sure that will go pretty fast. I would love to hear your stories when you finally move in.
