    Default Starlight Drive-in

    Does anyone remember the 'Starlight Drive-in' that used to be up in behind where the Country Club Mall is now just off Long lake...I'm looking for information on it...When it opened/closed..I have one picture of it from a distance taken from the air!...Any help would be greatly appreciated...

    Wellington School was built in 1966-67 and that photo looks like the school is in the early early stages of being built.

    I added names to streets to help others. The Drive-Inn took up the space where Barons Road is now. Ross Road off of Norwell is hidden by the trees.

    The drive-in was definitely closed by 1974, but the entrance to it was still visible. I'd say it had been closed at least a couple of years.

    There was also a drive-in at Cassidy. (we used to go there a lot because it was cheaper than the Starlight). There's a few photos on this site:
