Hmmmm... been mostly lurking on here for the past few months but figure it's about time to come out of hiding and say hello!

I've been in Nanaimo for almost two years. Have lived all over Canada as well as teaching for a bit in Mexico and Ukraine with my daughter.

I'm an early childhood educator in a centre downtown and am into all things outdoors such as hiking, kayaking, burning out at the beach, etc. Am hiking the Juan de Fuca this fall with my daughter. Very excited/nervous about that and so am trying to get into shape by hiking all trails in and around Nanaimo until then.

Why does this feel as though I'm setting up a profile on a dating website?

PS: I love pina coladas and getting caught in the rain.
