Noticed that the discussion in this thread includes the name of the Deputy City Manager, (Al Kenning). Wasn't a General Manager of Corporate Services, (Doug Holmes), hired a couple of years ago?
Believe that both he and Joan Harrison, the Manager of Legislative Services, (aka City Clerk’s Office), came to the City from the Sunshine Coast Regional District. Joan works with Ian Howat, Director of Legislative Services. (Positions formerly held by Karen Burley and Jim Bowden.)
Statement of Financial Information for the Year Ended December 31, 2008 indicates the following:
Holmes’ Remuneration and Expenses were $165,647 and $12,286 respectively Harrison’s Remuneration and Expenses were $96,719 and $3,958 respectively.
