I'm looking for a one bedroom apartment or bachelor suite to rent. Hopefully furnished, on a bus route and rent no higher than $550. Cat (one cat) allowed. Anyone know of anything?

$425 is about the max that the welfare crowd will pay. Above that there is nothing to about $700/mo. At that rate and above you will find plenty of options.

Maybe shared accommodation is for you. Lots of my single adult friends are going that route because of the lack of choices between skid row and $700/mo.
