why shouldn't we be negative over somthing thats stupid?
The cities going downhill so fast they gotta pump out propaganda feel good pamphlets every couple months to try to deceive people into thinking things are getting better when in actualitty they're getting worse. Did you know that in the recent nanaimo tourism brouchure of 101 things to see and do in nanaimo the spirit square and the diana krall plaza wern't even mentioned ??
When growth is a positive thing its a positive things, when change is just done for the sake of change its usually stupid and every 12 year old knows that!!!
I haven't seen any positive growth in the time i've been here, only lies and corruption and failure, the only people who would say things are positive in nanaimo are liars, people who work for the city or thier friends or just plain old fashioned morons
You go spend a few days in vancouver and then come back to nanaimo and tell me things Are positive

    Default Port Place Liquor Store

I've just finished the weekend working at the new Port Place Liquor Store and have several photos to post in this thread. There is still a little bit of electrical work to be done but aside from that the store just needs to be stocked with the various liquor it will sell. The store was originally scheduled to be opened on March 15th, but there is going to be a delay because of the unfinished flooring outside the store. The tile has been torn up inside the mall and the job has yet to be completed.

The interior is easy enough to see if you walk by. You won't be looking at an empty store for too much longer.

Customer Service. I realize the quality of the photos aren't the greatest, the lighting is to blame. I'll see what I can do to correct this in the future ( more like 'this is going to take too damn long to correct the contrast in each individual photo').

Here's some signage. You guys ever try to photograph a neon sign before? What a nightmare!

This is the bottle return. Here we get a look at both sides of the service counter with a view into the warehouse.

I must say that I'm a bit disappointed with the picture quality. Anyway, these are the final three photos from this project. The materials used in the construction of this store are 'eco-friendly', the VC floor tiles are actually made of corn. Hilarious!
