Child Care for Infants?

My wife has to go back to work in Mid February, and we have an 8 month old boy who will need care about 4 days per week.

Does anyone know of any good daycare centers that offer care for this age group?

Most sites I have seen are only for toddlers, and we cannot pay the bills on one income as her mat leave expires.

You can try Little Ferns by Barsby, Enchanted Woodlands by the hopital or you can call Pacificare for referances for some good familly and group daycares that may have spaces for an infant.
These spaces are filled quickly so it is good to look well ahead of time.

start looking and cold calling the list you get from pacificcare.
the ministry also produced a list of registered daycares. infants are going to be about 800 bucks for in home, 900 at a group day care.

We put ours into a home day care. Its the bomb. We cold called every single one on pacific care, then went down the ministry list. thats your best bet.

The one recommendation I have is try turtle time daycare.

If you don't find anything suitable, may I suggest a Nanny. Care in your own home by an experienced Nanny is always a great solution.
