    Default teen jobs

Can anyone advise me as to what jobs teenagers can get here in Nanaimo? So far we have found that my daughter's friends who are 15+ can find jobs, but there don't seem to be jobs for those who are 14... Any suggestions?

Fourteen might be a bit young for jobs except for the old stanbys, paper routes and babysitting. One is self sold that is put and ad in the free classifieds or go to the newspapers.
It wont pay much but it will perhaps do for a time untill the 15th birthday.
Oh and perhaps lawn mowing odd jobs errands etc.
    How are the housework skills?
Just some ideas from one who does not truley know but my girls could only live by their wits till just this year when the younger turned 15.
Does this teen have a SIN?

Yes she has an SIN and has had a paper route for the past 1.5 years. Now wants to move on to something bigger and better. And she JUST turned 14.

And very poor housework skills I'm afraid.

For information regarding the employment of children under the age of 15 (not in the film business), refer to this PDF document published by the Government of British Columbia.
