Thread: couple suggestions

    Default couple suggestions

First off I don't have really any major issues with the forum everything seems pretty good

There are a couple suggestions I'd like to throw out there, that I think would help follow these threads a little easier, right now the new posts go on the first page and everything gets moved back, I would suggest reversing the order and having the first post in a thread always stay page 1 so all the posts would keep their page # and when you read the thread through from the begining you'd read it straight through, when you're reading the most curent posts they'd be on the last page at the bottom, a couple things this would do is you'd be able to remember and reference page #'s of favorite pictures etc, also when posting pictures they would be in order and not get out of whack, unless your smart enough to think backwards, which I am not.
Another thing that may have already been suggested whats the deal with the 6 picture limit per post? sure would be nice to at least have 10 or more, would make it easier, been thinking about that for a while haha, anyways everything else is good looking forward to the new site when you guys get it up, Thanks!

Thanks to BigMac I now realize I can control the settings myself so I changed them now they are just the way I like them, I'd still like to be able to upload 10-20 pictures at a time though

Oh good, BigMac beat me to it! Sorry it took me so long to see the notification of your post, seaman.

I see no reason why we can't allow more photos per post - I've increased it to 10 for now - let's see how it goes!

Thanks so much for the suggestions.

I think 10 photos is a good number. The reason most forums limit the number of pictures is due to the speed of computers and internet speeds.
With almost everyone beyond dialup, the number of pictures does not affect the average reader, although those that are will complain about slow loading pictures.
I know that on my last computer, some of the multiple picture posts take a while to load, but now with my new one, it is a lot quicker.
