I so agree with the change in JP.It really used to be the place to go to for a great dinner, they were noted for the fish & chips.but sadly, they have slipped terribly. We have mentioned it to a few folks that work there, but they say its just the way things have been going, what they need is a change in management. Its too bad, my son just moved a walk away, and it would have been nice to walk to the pub and grab some dinner..but nope.just grab a few beers now.
Too bad the Rocking Horse is a drive away, they have a fabulous menu and the food for us has always been perfect.

Last night after a long day at work we decided to give the JP another chance. Hadn't been in there for at least 3 yrs despite it being very nearby and one of our favourite haunts when we moved to the area 15 yrs ago. We were very pleased to see it had been renovated since our last visit, so much cleaner looking. BUT the food hadn't improved, if anything had really gone downhill. TOTALLY flavourless burger & fries, like eating cardboard. Guess we'll continue driving past them to pubs and restaurants with better food....what a shame!
