    Default Customer service at the Bay . . .

    Afrooz at the Estee Lauder counter, and Adrienne in home furnishings, where I've finally found a love seat that I've been looking for, for about four years. Perfect, and at a much, much lower price than I'd have expected from the Bay. Found it by accident because I was heading through home furnishings to the washrooms. Afrooz is a constant wonder, can never do enough for a customer, and Adrienne has just gone above and beyond in kindess and courtesy.

    It is always nice when people working for a company especially in the customer service front end; work according to the company's service ethics. That is to provide the best and pleasant service; with the customer feeling service provided is superior and satisfactory and will return. Providing excellent customer service is part of the retail service and anything less is not doing your job.

    A great smile and willingness to assist to the end is all part of customer service. These people that perform in this way; go a long ways in the service area by way of promotion and being the mentor of their company that they represent.

    The customer service at the Bay in Nanaimo is really good. I find their sales clerks very friendly and helpful. The Bay at Woodgrove, is a favorite store of mine to go, when in town. I don't care for the Bay locations here in Victoria. The service is a bit on the snobby side.
