Bus service: Departure Bay to Duncan?

We got this request for info:
"I am trying to find out if there is any bus service that runs from Departure Bay Ferry terminal to Duncan. There is very little information on the internet - do you have any suggestions?"

I guess they could ask the charter companies by phone? There is usually a bus driver on the ferry, at a desk, taking orders, etc.
Or, they could take the public bus from the ferry to the bus station downtown, and go from there.

Hi- I know people that have taken the Island Link Express bus up island. Apparently it does go from the ferry terminal to Victoria - worth an enquiry if they would stop in Duncan - don't see why not. Looks like you have to email them. Link is - http://www.islandlinkbus.com/index.asp

take nanaimo transit to downtown - get off at tim hortons - walk across the crosswalk, down the bill to the greyhound station, and get a ticket to Duncan - costs about $20.
