Rave for Parents and Kids of Nanaimo

I had some friends visiting from out of town last week. They happened to take a ride on the transit system out to the Woodgrove mall from their motel. They remarked that they enjoyed the roundabout route the bus took because they got to see more of the city....but they also remarked that they were so impressed because when all the school kids were exiting the bus they shouted out a "thank you, bye" to the bus driver.... This looks good on the kids an the way their parents are obviously bringing them up...Nice to be able to say positive things about the next generation!

I bet alot of the thanks you's: by the kids to the bus driver; is due to he/she is liked and knows how to interact with them. That makes a huge impact on the kids today. Kids are not stupid and when adults project an attitude towards them they get obviously a negative attitude. I love to see adults that really interact with the young ones because you see it in the kids reactions to them. Kudos to the bus driver!
