I prefer Baby Salsa's house-made chips as opposed to Gina's bagged chips.... I haven't tried a Margherita yet at Baby Salsa but Gina's just uses frozen Minute Maid lime for theirs....

ppl consider olives a Mediterranean ingrediant. but along with that the corn was translucent and the beans were lack luster. in the end, i did not clean my plate...which is rare for me!!! Thumbs down Gina's.
I agree with previous posters who have enjoyed this quaint little restaurant. For example, their complimentary salsa is a salsa verde (green) and is very authentic. The refried beans here are how they should be (smooth, almost creamy and certainly not dry and gummy like Gina's often serves). Gina's is worth a visit because it is not pretentious and the atmosphere is always lively and funky. Baby Salsa offers a more sedate atmosphere and very attentive service. Both are good spots, but Salsa is certainly closer to authenticity.
had the blackened salsa yesterday on my pollo street tacos.....WOWWZA...someone call the fire dept.!!!
