Responsible couple looking for a place sometime this summer - flexible

We're considering moving to Nanaimo from Edmonton, but want to get a feel for what it would be like to stay there for longer than a few days in a hotel. So, we're interested in renting a house for perhaps two weeks to a month - maybe longer. We like the Old City and Departure Bay, and other more established character neighborhoods, but we're flexible. If anyone has business in Edmonton this summer and is interested in house-swapping, we're open to that, too.
