    Hi guys I am new to nanaimo,one of my friend is doing a assignment to find out several English slang.I've heard people talking a word "burdo"everyday (I don't know is it spell correct?).Can anybody tell me what it means? and please tell me how to spell it and I need a conversation using this word.My friend need it tommorow ,thanks guys!

    Please provide a little bit more background about this! Questions like this one are sometimes regarded as suspicious.

    I wonder if the word you refer to is actually "brutal"? Locals will use this word to mean "that is too bad" or to comment about something being undesirable.

    As an umpire for 40 plus years, brutal is a word I am all to familiar with! Never heard it pronounced burdo though?

    Thanks !I think it's brutal, the meaning is right .I've heard it when people complaint their boss or the hydro price.
    But locals say this word like "berdo",that's why I confuse.Thanks guys!

    yep,I've tried that unbandictionary not the same meaning for here.Anyway thanks to all.
