I'm still hangin' around!
I've got a 15 month old (and 3 older ones) and a(nother) full time job, so I've been sort of in and out for the last few years. But I'm a lifer.
It's funny, these forums are awful slow at times, but when you think of the 7+ years this forum has been active -- there're a LOT of pages.

that's awesom! I see u around sometimes (we live in same area still)....
I have a 13 month old now :-). Decided after losing Gracie that I wanted a baby. Also have a broken leg (2plates and18screws)from playing roller derby.

Persephone: I thought about you a week or so ago, when I saw Gracie mentioned in someone else's obituary notice. So sad to remember that sad time.

That obit caught me off-guard. My mom called me after she saw it. What saddened me was the very line, "predecessors by his great-granddaughter Gracie.
No little girl should be outlived by a great-grandparent.

I see the orthopedic surgeon tomorrow and will find out when I can start weight-bearing. I've been stuck on my couch for 8 weeks now. It didn't bother me much in the first few weeks, but now that spring is here and the sun is shining, I am angry that I can't even let little man play in grass as he is walking
