    Default Nanaimo Pharmacy Prices

We need to find a new pharmacy, and I know that there are significant differences in prices - both in the dispensing fee, and in the charge for the drugs. I suspect that there are also differences in the quality of service.

Does anyone have knowledge of the price markup used by the various pharmacies, as well as their dispensing fees?

This topic could be a significant community service, since many people spend a lot of money without any form of insurance coverage.

Our payroll/HR person phoned around when the Steve Marshall Auto Group changed insurance plans and found that Costco had both the smallest dispensing fee and the less expensive generic versions of drugs available. She had a list with all the fees, I'll see how outdated it is and if she still has it!
You do not need a membership to use the pharmacy.

(While there try the Apple Pecan salad, sooo good!)

    Costco has the best prices.
I had a prescription that cost $240 at London Drugs. The same prescription at Costco was $150. Very big difference.
