Looking for Sales Positiion

Hello, this is a fantastic forum. My wife and I are moving to Nanaimo in the next few months or so as soon as our condo sells.

I'm looking for a full time or part time sales position. I have worked in automotive, flooring, ISP and retail management.

What are the job prospects like in Nanaimo? My wife is in the guest services for hotels.

Any help or ideas would be much appreciated.

There always seems to be a lot of turnover at the auto dealerships. My guess is it's not hard to get in but it's hard to make ends meet in these times unless you already have a big network. (Much like my line of work.) Shaw seems to hire quite a lot of people as they have a big staff and not everyone stays. Retail? Well that's the big one. We're the retail centre of the island. Lots of hotels downtown.
