Nanaimo newpapers on microfilm?

I will be visiting Nanaimo this summer (introductory post here) and would like to view some of the local newspapers from the early 1900s. Is there a library or other institution that has newspapers on microfilm available to the public?

I recommend you use the library at the Vancouver Island University as their catalogues are more complete than the public library downtown.....stan the man

Stan, you are indeed the man; thank you for the tip! A quick look at the university website makes me think I may need to purchase a library card, though (certainly for any online research). I'll look into it further. Thanks again!
