Nanaimo Bars (the confection, not the pubs)

I realize I am taking a risk by asking this question. Stan the Man may put me on his "ignore list." The moderators may choose to permanently banish me from the forum. My hotel room may not get cleaned when I visit this summer.

But ask I must. Is there any establishment in your fair city that offers a *gasp* sugar-free Nanaimo Bar?

Not that I know of. But that's a hell of a good idea. Those things are painfully sweet and loaded with calories. I can't stand the bloody things.

Maybe if some bakery in Nanaimo is reading this, they could whip up a batch of sugar free Nanaimo bars and see how it goes.
